Words cannot capture how we feel about Rev Maya. We wanted our wedding to truly reflect us and be a personal love letter to the sacrament of marriage, the way we feel about each other and the love that we have for the people who were surrounding us that day. As we learned, there is no more important piece to that puzzle than the person who presides over not only the ceremony but the journey you take together to get there.
From the moment we met her, Rev Maya exuded a warmth, love and wisdom that we immediately fell in love with. She took our hands and walked us through everything while at the same time giving us the freedom and guidance to make it all about us and ensure that the ceremony was a true window into us and what we value, believe and love.
She was so generous in sharing her thoughts and had so much patience for the process. She took all our ideas and wove them into a narrative that to this day our families and friends talk about. During the ceremony her genuine sense of love was so palpable in her words, her tone and her smile that she genuinely touched each and every person in attendance. She was the central figure without ever being the center figure and that is a very hard balance to strike.
We cannot imagine not having had Rev Maya on our journey with us and beside us on the most special day of our lives. To say she was irreplaceable would be an understatement.

We have benefited in a hundred ways from all the wisdom Maya has brought to our celebration. We need to let people know how extraordinary she is. Andrei speaks no English and only our Maid of Honor spoke Russian. Maya spoke slowly so our Maid of Honor could translate. She had our ceremony translated so we have a copy in Russian. We were so grateful for her extra consideration. Her home was decorated with lovely orchids that were just for us.

Maya has kindness and graciousness that makes every celebration a joy. It was our 65th wedding anniversary and we never thought about renewing our vows. At her suggestion we knew it was the perfect way to honor our years of love, family and friendships. We spend time in San Miguel de Allende Mexico and have many friends living there. Maya wrote a beautiful ceremony that wove traditions from our Jewish and Mexican cultures. With her encouragement I wrote a love song and sang it to my husband. He said some prayers that were important to him and that he loved. Maya had a traditional Mexican wreath of flowers hand made for us. We both wore it during the ceremony. There wasn't a dry eye at the party! Friends from ages 16 to 97 said Maya created the most beautiful ceremony they had ever attended. Our anniversary is one we will never forget, cherished and honored by our vow renewal celebration. We recommend Maya highly.

Maya helped guide us through the entire process of getting married... from getting the marriage license, to things we hadn't remotely thought of such as technical considerations, how we wanted our sacred space to look, and various other elements we could incorporate into the ceremony.
